Yankee Doodle

Yankee Doodle went to town, A-riding on a pony. Stuck a feather in his cap and called it "macaroni." Why on earth would Yankee Doodle call his feather "macaroni"?

I think eh might call it macaroni because a feather it wobbly like a peace of macaroni
